S275JR LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) Steel Pipe is a high-quality non-alloy structural steel pipe manufactured in strict accordanceEN 10025-2andEN 10219European standards. Featuring longitudinal submerged arc welding technology, this product delivers excellent structural stability, uniform wall thickness, high tensile strength, and superior ductility. The S275JR grade represents low carbon structural steel with room-temperature impact resistance (JR grade, 20℃ impact test), no heat treatment required for delivery, and outstanding weldability and formability.

Compared with conventional welded pipes, our S275JR LSAW steel pipes adopt multi-pass submerged arc welding process, ensuring smooth weld seams, low residual stress, and reliable pressure resistance. It is the preferred structural pipe for civil engineering, pipeline transmission, mechanical manufacturing, and offshore auxiliary structures, widely recognized in European and global engineering projects.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q1: What does S275JR mean?

S275JR is a European standard non-alloy structural steel grade. "S" stands for structural steel, "275" refers to the minimum yield strength of 275 MPa, "J" represents room temperature impact grade, and "R" indicates hot rolled delivery condition with no heat treatment required. It features low carbon, good toughness and excellent weldability, suitable for general structural engineering.

Q2: What is the difference between LSAW and ERW steel pipe?

LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) pipes adopt thick plate rolling and multi-pass submerged arc welding, suitable for large-diameter and thick-wall specifications, with higher pressure resistance and structural stability. ERW pipes are electric resistance welded, mostly for small and medium diameter thin-wall pipes. S275JR LSAW pipes have fewer welding defects and better bearing performance for heavy-duty engineering.

Q3: Can you provide customized sizes and surface treatments?

Yes. We support full customization of outer diameter, wall thickness, fixed length, pipe end processing (beveling, threading, flanging). Optional surface treatments include anti-rust oil, black paint, hot-dip galvanizing, epoxy anti-corrosion coating, etc., to meet different environmental and engineering requirements.

Q4: What quality inspection reports can you provide?

We can provide official factory test reports including chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test (tensile, bending, impact), hydraulic pressure test, ultrasonic weld inspection report, and EN standard certification documents. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TUV) is acceptable.

Q5: What is the delivery time and packaging?

Conventional sizes are in stock with 3-7 days fast delivery. Custom sizes take 10-25 days according to quantity. Standard packaging: bundled with steel strips, covered with waterproof woven cloth; customized packaging is available for export container transportation.

Q6: Is S275JR LSAW pipe suitable for outdoor and marine environments?

The raw material itself has basic anti-oxidation performance. For outdoor humid and marine corrosive environments, we recommend customized galvanizing or epoxy anti-corrosion coating to extend service life and meet long-term outdoor engineering operation standards.
