JCOE LSAW Steel Pipe
LSAW steel pipe (Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welding) , also known as straight seam submerged arc welded steel pipe, is a high-performance industrial pipe manufactured from single medium-thickness steel plates. The production involves forming the plate into a pipe shape and welding it using a double-sided submerged arc welding process, followed by mechanical cold expansion. This results in a product with superior weld integrity, characterized by excellent toughness, plasticity, uniformity, and density.

Key Features & Advantages
* Large Diameter and Thick Wall: LSAW pipes are typically produced in large diameters (common range: 406.4mm to 1620 mm, with maximum lengths up to 12.2m) and with thick walls (e.g., 8mm to 50mm), making them suitable for high-pressure applications.
*JCOE Forming: The plate is shaped through a J-C-O sequence, then welded and expanded. JCO forming is progressive pressure forming, which changes the forming process of steel pipe from two steps of UO forming to multi steps. In the forming process, the steel plate has uniform deformation, small residual stress and no scratch on the surface.
*High Strength and Durability: The Double Submerged Arc Welding is welded both inside and outside, the seam is a little thicker than pipe body ,It has high strength performance than other kinds of welding (like ERW)
*Uniform Stress Distribution: The straight longitudinal weld provides a more uniform stress distribution compared to spiral welds.
